What is the Oxford Seed Fund? 
Oxford Seed Fund (OSF) is a select international team of entrepreneurs, investors and industry specialists looking to learn first-hand about the investment process in early stage ventures . Student-led and housed within the Entrepreneurship Centre of the Saïd Business School, we help brilliant Oxonians make the Oxford difference through their innovations. 

We invest in Oxford-affiliated ventures and provide entrepreneurs with the network and support they need to scale their business through advice from our diverse team, world-class University resources and international business connections.

Since 2012 OSF has invested in 24 Oxford University associated companies including being early investors in Onfido and Go1.
To Apply For Funding You Need:
  • Corporate registration in the UK or US (even if you operate elsewhere).
  • An Oxford connection: At least one alumni, staff member or current student in your founding team.    
  • Requirement for capital: An explanation why our investment will make a meaningful difference for your venture.             
  • Potential for growth: Demonstrate that you could receive a 10x follow-on investment or generate substantial revenues in the next 18 months.      
The Application
The application is short and includes a few high level questions about the business.
You will need:
  1. Pitch deck (look at Y-Combinator for examples)
  2. Co-founder names
  3. Short brief on your company

We also ask that you submit a link to a deck or data room that covers the problem/solution, market and competition, team, traction, and how you intend to use the funds.
