Your Pitch Deck:

This could be a link to a folder on a cloud drive, (i.e. onedrive, Google drive or Dropbox) containing a pitch deck, financial plan or other data useful to understand your business. This could also just be a live link to your pitch deck.
The deck should include information on...
  • problem & solution
  • market & competition
  • team
  • traction
  • how you intend to use the funds if you receive investment
If you are looking for a template try this link: Y Combinator's Seed Deck template.
PITCH DECK TIPS

Some more guidance is avialable on our E-School here

Alternatively take a look at this link for the ten slides you need.
Pitch Video:

Your video should cover similar ground as your deck, but in your own words:

  • Problem & solution - what you're solving and why your approach works
  • Market & competition - who your customer is and why you'll win
  • Team - why you're the people to do this
  • Traction - what you've achieved so far
  • Use of funds - what The Mila Catalyst Award unlocks for your venture

Two minutes is limited, so prioritise. We'd rather hear three of these covered convincingly than all five rushed. The deck carries the main detail and the video is where we hear your conviction and how clearly you can articulate the direction of the venture.
