OXFORD VENTURE BUILDER PROGRAMME

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED:

The programme welcomes all members of the University of Oxford who are eager to develop their business ideas. Selected teams will benefit from a comprehensive package including a 3-day bootcamp, mentorship, hands-on support, networking, matchmaking opportunities, and a pitching night. Moreover, top-performing teams will have the opportunity to compete for a share of a cash grant.

Team applications should be submitted by the lead applicant, who must be a current Oxford staff member or student, encompassing undergraduates, postgraduates, DPhil candidates, or diploma students.

Please note, as part of the application process, we require a two-minute video pitch. This video is a mandatory component, and applications lacking a video link will be deemed incomplete. Ensure that the video link is accessible to anyone with the link.

BOOTCAMP: All applicants are expected to participate in a mandatory 3-day bootcamp running from Friday 25th April to Sunday 27th April 2025.

Weekly sessions and mentorship: Commencing on Wednesday 7th May, and continuing each Wednesday for five weeks until Wednesday 4th June 2025, applicants are invited to attend after-hours sessions. During this time, applicants will engage with mentors to refine their ideas and address challenges.

Pitching event: This event offers applicants a platform to present their ideas to a network of potential supporters and investors, opening doors to further support and funding opportunities. The event is scheduled for Wednesday 11th June 2025.

The Entrepreneurship Centre asserts no equity claims or ownership rights over ideas or intellectual property (IP) developed by participants in the Oxford Venture Builder.

The deadline for applications is Sunday 16th March, at 0:00 midnight (GMT).

We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short interview. Successful candidates will be informed by Monday 31st March. We encourage you to apply early to increase your chances.
